Some among the major italian Foundations, a team of partners  with a long lasting experience in the field of development cooperation, a common mission: to build pathways of development in Africa.

Fondazione Cariparma, Fondazione Cariplo, Compagnia di San Paolo and Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena support Fondazioni4Africa with a significant budget envelope, a coordination and management team, a task force guiding all the communication initiatives, with the expertise of agencies in charge of external monitoring and evaluation (punto.sud and Scuola superiore Sant’ Anna di Pisa). This is the new born space for joint planning, with interventions in Senegal and Northern Uganda, promoted by the Foundations and carried out in the field by key civil society actors (Private foundations, ngos, associations, cbos).

The web site, promoted by the Foundations, wishes to be the key "box" to share this way of operating with partners, sectorial experts, the Press, the actors involved in similar contexts and the overall italian public opinion.
